And now that? The next steps in the investigation of the Esther López case after finding her body.

After the first day of mourning in Traspinedo for the death of Esther López, the investigation is now focused on the results of the autopsy.

This Sunday, Traspinedo has lived the first of the three days of mourning decreed after the death of Esther López , the 35-year-old girl whose body was found this Saturday after 24 days missing.

Her family, through a statement , has released thanks for the support received during these weeks, also asking for respect to mourn Esther's death alone.

Now, it is the turn of the investigators to clarify what really happened to Esther, with the search efforts focusing on the place where her body was found .

As explained by Manu Marlasca , head of research at laSexta, the Forensic Anatomical Institute of Valladolid, where Esther's autopsy is being carried out, will have to elucidate data such as whether there are traces from other places or if there are car fibers.

The first observation shows that there are no obvious signs of violence , but that does not rule out any hypothesis about his death, something that will end up being seen in the final report that is made.

It remains to be determined whether or not his body was later placed at the discovery site. For this reason, teams from the UCO , together with the visual inspection team, have combed the place where Esther was found inch by inch. Security cameras will also play a key role.

The point is located 800 meters from La Maña bar and just four kilometers from Traspinedo . It is the key point that can explain what happened to Esther López from January 12, when she disappeared, until the fateful February 5, when her body was found.
